I went to Daiso today in Mtn View and bought various useful cups, bowls, tea straining teapot (love that) and spent a nice long time browsing stuff taht to my surprise was in general made in Japan! Cool! Dai-san, haha, is my friends name, didnt think about how coincidental that is..Dai-san, Daiso ni ikou ka? Wahhaaaha:) Last night I went/tried to go clubbing in SF, didnt go so well so i'm skipping that, haha. Today Dai-san and I made various foods, rice w/furikake, tamago omuretto, ご飯とわさびのりそしてふりかけ。おいしかった！ だいさんの家でプチプチToyありました。My friend has this puchi puchi toy which simulates popping small air bubbles as used for insulating packages, haha. Basically you keep pressing it and it makes random noises like "eyunng!" or "boing" or (nara). Supposedly there's some non PG-13 noises but I wasn't able to extract them.
Try Daiso out! You'll like it, theres tons of useful stuff that's actually made in Japan and most of it is only $1.5, 安いよ！
